Sample Itinerary 1: Riding lesson/Trek mix
Day 1 – Arrive at your accommodation. In the afternoon you will have a riding lesson/assessment lesson in the arena.
Day 2 – Take a morning riding lesson in the arena.
Day 3 – Enjoy a 1 hour trek to see the local area.
Day 4 - Your last day (optional) before leaving your accommodation (transfers available)
Sample Itinerary 2: Rider (all levels)
Day 1 – Arrive at your accommodation. In the afternoon walk to the riding centre for a riding lesson in the arena/assessment lesson. We will then make a riding plan for your progression throughout your stay and help you get closer to any riding goals you may have.
Day 2 – Take your second lesson in the arena.
Day 3 – Take your final riding lesson in the arena in the morning.
Day 4 – Your last day. Leave your accommodation (transfers available)
Sample Itinerary 3: Novice Trekker
Day 1 – Arrive at your accommodation & settle in. In the afternoon cook your self lunch with fresh local produce or be cooked for by a professional chef who specializes in healthy vegetarian meals . Spend the rest of the day as you choose. You could take a stroll and explore the local area or relax in the garden outside your yurt.
Day 2 – Trek out in the mountains for 1 hr after a 30 minute lesson in the arena where we will cover the basics and prepare you for your trek.
Day 3 – Take a longer 2 hour trek.
Day 4 – Your last day (transfers available)
Sample Itinerary 4: Mountain Explorer
Day 1 – Arrive at your accommodation. Take a day to relax after your journey. Go for a stroll to explore the area or enjoy a drink & tapas at the nearby open air bar in the forest.
Day 2 – Arrive at the riding centre in the afternoon for a 1 hour trek where you will be introduced to the area on horse back.
Day 3 – Your guide will take you on a 2 hour trek in the morning. You can take a river ride or ride to a view point with stunning mountain views.
Day 4 – Leave your accommodation.
Sample Itinerary 5 – Family
Day 1 – Arrive at your accommodation in the morning and settle in. In the afternoon you will meet the horses & ponies at Pegasus Riding Centre. You will have a riding lesson with learning games (30 minute session)
Day 2 – Family riding session in the morning. You will learn a bit more about horses and how to take care of them. We will do some grooming together before taking a mini trek in the forest park on a lead rein (1 hour session) . In the afternoon venture out into the town or take a walk by the river. There are buses to Granada, the beach and local villages which leave from the town if you want to explore further afield.
Day 3 – Take a walk/drive to the riding centre for a novice 1.5 hr family trek. We will give you a lesson in the arena before you all ride out on a 1 hour family trek passing ancient olive trees and goat farms.
Day 4 – Enjoy a healthy breakfast on your last day before leaving your accommodation (transfers available)
