Sample Itinerary 1: Riding lesson/Trek mix
Day 1 – Arrive at the riding centre in the morning for a riding assessment lesson/riding lesson. Afterwards walk back to your yurt for a leisurely lunch. Later on in the afternoon enjoy a 1 hour trek to explore the local area.
Day 2 – In the morning you will go on a 2 hour trek to a mountain view point. Afterwards return to your yurt. Later in the afternoon return to the riding centre for a 1 hour riding lesson in the arena.
Day 3 – Your guide will be waiting for you in the morning to take you on a full day trek with picnic a lunch in the mountains (6 hours)
Day 4 – Enjoy a healthy breakfast before taking your final riding lesson at the riding centre. (airport transfers available)
Sample Itinerary 2: Novice Trekker
Day 1 – Arrive at your glamping accommodation. In the afternoon you will take a novice trek where we will prepare you for trekking. You will be taught the skills you need out on a trek. This will take place partly in the arena and out on a 1 hour trek (1.5 hour)
Day 2 – Trek out in the mountains on a 3.5 hour tapas trail. We will stop en route for drinks & tapas at a Spanish bar with mountain views.
Day 3 – You will take a 4 hour half day trek to a secluded mountain reservoir. We also have other routes along the river to a traditional agricultural village.
Day 4 – Last day. In the morning take a 3 hour trek on your final day. Leave your yurt to travel to the airport (transfers available).
Sample Itinerary 3 – Mountain Explorer
Day 1 – Arrive at your glamping accommodation & settle in. Explore the town & relax after your journey.
Day 2 – In the morning you will take a full day trek (6 hours). We will stop in the mountains for a picnic lunch (many beautiful & varied routes are available for all abilities)
Day 3 –In the morning take another full day trek (6 hours). We will stop in the mountains for a picnic lunch.
Day 4 – Enjoy a healthy breakfast on your last day before leaving your accommodation and traveling on to the airport.
Sample itinerary 4 – Family (own a pony)
Day 1 – Arrive at your yurt. In the afternoon take a family walk or a shuttle to the riding centre where we will introduce your family to the ponies that you will be caring for during your stay. You will be responsible for your pony and learn to care for him/her every day. Children will be given a tour of the riding centre, take a horse care lesson, groom the ponies and spend some time with them to become friends and develop confidence with their ponies. Children will take part in daily pony care jobs and have a riding lesson in the arena (3 hours)
Day 3 – Arrive at the riding centre in the morning for a 3 hour session. The children will catch their ponies from the paddock, feed them and take part in daily stable chores. Children will groom and tack up their ponies. You will take a a pony care class and enjoy a mini trek out in the forest park on the ponies on a lead rein.
Day 2 – In the morning arrive at the riding centre for a 3 hour session. Children will bring in their own ponies from the paddock, feed them, take part in daily stable chores. After grooming and tacking up your ponies you will go on a 1 hour family trek together after a lesson in the arena. On the trek we will ride past ancient olive trees and traditional goat farms.
Day 4 – Walk to the riding centre in the morning for a 3 hour session. You will bring your ponies in from the paddock. Children will feed and groom their ponies and complete some daily jobs. There will also be a fun quiz to see how much everyone has learnt. Families will enjoy a fun riding session with gymkhana games. Afterwards return to your accommodation to collect your luggage and travel on to the airport.
